One of its clients, The Mohamed bin Zayed Award for Best Teacher, is a distinguished honor established under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates. This prestigious award recognizes outstanding educators in participating countries, fostering educational excellence, innovation, and creativity in teaching. It aims to elevate the role of educators and support their professional development in alignment with global best practices.

Content

The project’s new website is being launched, work on which is currently in progress by the website development team. I was contracted to create customized content for the homepage and several sub-pages, and to write a series of thought leadership blogs highlighting current education trends and technologies. I also wrote sample Impact Stories based on interviews organized with past Award winners that ensured a journalistic approach to telling their stories and documenting their impact.

Creative

A 90-page pedagogical guidebook was conceptualized and designed with much of the content redrafted from existing material and guidelines, and some of it created original. The guidebook was designed and delivered in editable PowerPoint and PDF formats, as requested by the Award team. I also storyboarded, scripted and produced a 60-second video promo using Final Cut Pro to officially launch the new edition of the Award.
